Lucia and her brother Ulf are magical folk who have spent years hiding from witches, with no home and no safe future. Their old friend Skarlett brings word of a map that marks the places where magical creatures can still live openly, including a werewolf camp that might help Ulf with his curse. Skarlett cannot travel with them without exposing herself, so Lucia must follow the map alone, first to the island of Ultima Lapis and then to whoever is printing the maps.
Hidden-object adventure with point-and-click scene exploration, hidden-object lists, inventories, quest tasks and many mini-game puzzles; an energy meter gates picking up and placing items, and each scene hides collection items and morphing objects.

Lucia needs a disguise before she dares re-enter the town where she and Ulf are wanted, so she gathers a cloak and the ingredients for a sleeping powder. In the Eye of the Gargoyle tavern Skarlett explains that a witch-hunter at one of the tables carries the map of magical-creature settlements. Lucia drugs the witch, picks her lock, steals the map and follows it across the river and into the forest toward the werewolf camp and the sacred tree.
Chapter 02 · Bonus storyStrange Coincidence
The chapter follows a rebellion member instead of Lucia, tracking down who is copying the maps of magical creatures. The trail runs from a tent camp and a hermit's forest cabin to a birder on the mountain, who is forced with a truth elixir to reveal that the maps come from a tower. After gathering rune stones in the caves and driving a giant slug out with incense, the protagonist opens a portal, finds the tower empty of an oracle and overloads the map-printing machine with slug acid.
Chapter 03The Map of Hope
Lucia and Ulf hire Captain Brodovitch and gather the components needed to sail to the island of Ultima Lapis, where werewolves may still live. They arrive in a flooded temple, help the Vilas and open the gates to the surface by collecting two gate keys. Above ground they pass through a town, heal an injured traveller to make an ointment, power the golem with an ice and a fire crystal and finally destroy the Defender machine that blocks the road to the werewolf settlement.
